2020 Indie Author Project regional contests update!

Last week marked the end of the submission window for the third annual Indie Author Project regional contests. These 2020 contests accepted hundreds of submissions to find the best indie-published YA and adult fiction in 14 U.S. states and one Canadian province. Along with cash prizes and promotional opportunities, the winners of each region will also have the chance to be named 2021 Indie Author of the Year and enjoy a wealth of additional PR and marketing benefits.

With the submission window behind us, the judging process is now getting underway. Throughout the summer and into the early fall, librarian judges from all across the U.S. and Canada will evaluate submissions to identify the finalists and winners from each participating region. Finalists will be announced in late August, with winners being selected by late October.

Did you miss the window to submit to this year’s contests? No problem! You can still submit to the non-exclusive, year-round Indie Author Project discovery program here.
