In this session, two-time Emmy Award-winning producer and award-winning author Nikesha Elise Williams will take writers through the process of writing, publishing, and marketing their book. The seminar will feature segments on content and craft during the writing portion of the workshop. During the publishing section participants will be taken through the process and avenues to publishing that include through traditional publishers and presses as well as independent or (self) publishing their work. In the final segment of the workshop we will discuss marketing and promotion strategy which is the key to getting books into the hands of the target audience and beyond.
